There are unexpected ups and downs
Some greens have strong buds, so check with your caddy.
Flashy golf wear is prohibited; Uniqlo is recommended.
It seems that Pearly Gates and skull marks are no good.
There are many local manners, but the members accompanying you will be able to teach you.
A jacket is of course a must. However, it is different now to wear it even during summer or during lunch. See photo
Socks should also be up to the ankles.
Lunch is short. About 30 minutes.
Surprisingly cheap.
It's best to avoid flashy foreign cars, but it doesn't seem to be that strict.
One of the so-called "prestigious golf courses." I only played it once. My score was 101 with a surprising amount of ups and downs.I hit 100, but will it be like this after retirement? It's like that. One person who became a member in his mid-50s said, ``I'm one of the younger members,'' but it seems like the aging population is progressing at prestigious courses across the country.
It's close to Hodogaya, and every time I see the members here, I feel like golf is such a sport.
It was my first time playing golf with a remodeled course, and it felt extremely bright and more elegant.
Before visiting, I was nervous about the name of the prestigious golf course and the various restrictions listed on the website, but my fears were unfounded.
All the staff, including the caddies, are kind and courteous. And there was almost no sense of ``visitor discrimination,'' which is common in such historic and prestigious clubs, and the atmosphere was comfortable.
You will have to pay a certain amount of fees, but it is reasonable if you compare it with the feeling of being disappointed by shoddy work and excessive cost cutting at a certain A-type golf course, or being irritated by golfers who do not have good manners or etiquette. Fee.
The speed of the greens can be difficult until you get used to it, but there are no unreasonable slopes in the greens, so it's relatively easy.
It's a shame that I can't really step foot there.
It was a great golf course.
Although it is located in Yokohama city, it is quite far away and surprisingly not small.
I also enjoyed the cherry blossoms for a little while.
The caddy was also good.

According to the data
Opened in 1922 (Taisho 11).
It is the second oldest golf course in Kanagawa Prefecture after Fujiya Hotel Sengoku Golf Course, and the third oldest in the Kanto region. It opened in 1922 (Taisho 11) in Hodogaya Ward, Yokohama (currently the site of the Yokohama National University campus) with nine halls. It opened the following year in 1923 (Taisho 12) with 18 holes, 6,109 yards, and a par of 69. It was designed by Walter G. Forberg, an assistant to legendary course designer Donald Ross. The first Japan Open was held in 1927 (Showa 2).
In 1967, it moved to its current location in Asahi Ward, Yokohama City. Designed by Shiro Akahoshi.
It's hard to believe that there's such a majestic, up and down, and perfectly maintained golf course so close to the city center. As this is a traditional course, all the staff seem to have been trained to deal with customers, so it's very cheerful and comfortable.
